United Kingdom - Olly Alexander - Dizzy

digital release image
On the BBC Strictly final night singer and actor Olly Alexander announced he was chosen to fly the flag for the U.K. in Malmö.
Olly Alexander (Oliver Alexander Thornton) is of course known as the singer of once trio Years & Years.

The song is titled Dizzy and is written by Olly himself with Danny L. Harle.
The song was released on March 1.
An extended  version was added / released on March 15. (see comments)
The acoustic version was released on April 26.
Remixes and their makers:
A remix by German DJ duo LIZOT (Max Kleinschmidt & Patrick Art) was released on March 29.
A remix by Italian DJ/Producer Giorgio Prezioso was released on April 5.
The MONSS remix was released on April 19. MONNS is Slovakian DJ Simon Svorad.
The remix by Liverpool DJ ESSEL was released on April 26.

Years & Years & Years
Years & Years released three albums but the last one was really only Olly going further under the Y&Y name. His most recent single A Very Bad Fun Idea was released as by "Olly Alexander (Years & Years)" as is Eurovision entry Dizzy.
The official Malmö album does not mention the (Years & Years) bit.

Years & Years first hit Desire charted in the UK, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands but their biggest international hit is King (2015) from the album Communion. That went top 10 in the same countries and also in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark and Australia.
Other known hits are Shine, Eyes Shut and If You're Over Me.

On a personal note: I have been a big fan of Years & Years ever since their first international hit Desire. So I'm exited.
He is one of two artists this year to have sung with Kylie, but so far the only one who did it with Elton and with Pet Shop Boys. So now you know.

Una Voce Per San Marino 2024 decided the Sammarinese entry for Malmö.
The final took place on 24/25 February, before that there were numerous castings and other methods to select the 17 finalists.
The final saw Jalisse returning, the entered Eurovision for Italy in 1997, ended 4th and were the last Italian entry for a long time. This time they finished 10th.
Also in the final is Loredana Berté who took her Sanremo 2024 song Pazza to the Sanmarino competition for a second chance (and finished 2nd).

Some interesting National Final artists' physical releases are mentioned at their country's pages:

France - Slimane - Mon Amour

The first chosen song we heard for Malmö is Mon Amour by Slimane.
France surprised us by releasing the song on November 8, just a day after the announcement.

Mon Amour is written by Slimane Nebchi himself with Yaacov Salah and Meïr Salah.

A remix, the Meya rework, was released on April 11.
The version on the official Malmö has some minor mastering changes to the original version. Mainly the orchestra is lower in the second half and the voice and piano are more upfront. Any thoughts?
(See comments, thanks Sander)

3CD - Essentiels Eurovision
A 3CD release by Slimane titled Essentiel Eurovision is announced for release on May 10.
It's a compilation album with singles and album tracks from 2016 to 2024.
It comes in a four-fold digipack with a 16 page booklet.
Mon Amour is included on CD3. (Capitol/Universal)
Vinyl and cassette are also mentioned at Amazon.
