Spain - Nebulossa - Zorra

The Spanish entry for Malmö is Zorra by Nebulossa (María Bas & Mark Dasousa)
Zorra was released a s a digital single on December 15 (Atomic records, 2023)
The duo wrote the song themselves. Zorra (repeated 23 times) translates as Bitch which probably why the digital outlets have the song down as explicit.

Nebulossa entered the San Marino castings in 2023 but didn't get past the early stages of the complicated process.
Funny coincidence: Spain sends a band who didn't make it in San Marino last year, San Marino sends a band that didn't make it in Spain last year.

A remix was released on February 9. It is credited to Fernando Moreno ft Nebulossa and is not on Nebulossa's usual label. This has now been removed so it's safe to say it wasn't official.

Another (official) version / remix was released on April 5, it is a duet version with Gloria Trevi

The version on the official Malmö is slightly different and cuts off a little bit of the intro. (also see comments)

Benidorm Fest
For the third year Spain selected their Eurovision entry through the Benidorm Fest.
The competition had two semi finals with the deciding show starting on February 3rd.

The past two editions a promo CD was issued but this year it appears the CD is available to a wider audience.
It is available here along with other Benidorm Fest souvenirs.

  2. To be very precise the intro on the official album version is not just shortened, it's somewhat different as it's also fully instrumental whereas the single version intro features vocals. The version on the karaoke album matches the one on the official album.
